Privacy Policy
100% on-device · no servers · no analytics
The short version
Till Payday stores every account balance, bill, paycheck, and setting on your iPhone only. We run no servers, we have no accounts to log into, we don't collect analytics, and we don't sell or share anything. Your money data is your money data.
What we collect
Nothing. Till Payday has no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, no advertising identifier, no telemetry. The app makes zero network calls to any server we control or pay for.
Where your data lives
- Your accounts, bills, income flows, and settings live in a private SwiftData store inside the app's sandboxed container on your iPhone.
- The home-screen widget reads a small snapshot of your latest verdict from an App Group container shared between the app and the widget — also entirely on-device.
- Notification schedules (the day-before reminder for your three largest bills) are stored by iOS itself; we don't see them.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you choose to send it. Two user-initiated exceptions:
- Data export. Settings → "Export your data" produces a JSON file. You decide where to send it (Files, AirDrop, email, iCloud Drive). The app shares the file via iOS's standard share sheet and never sees the destination.
- Email to support. If you tap our support link to email us, your email client sends the message you typed. Nothing about your in-app data is included unless you paste it yourself.
iCloud Backup
If you have iCloud Backup enabled on your iPhone, iOS may include the app's local data in your encrypted device backup. This is Apple's standard behaviour for all apps and is governed by Apple's privacy policy, not ours. You can disable backup for Till Payday in Settings → [Your Name] → iCloud → Manage Storage → Backups.
Children
Till Payday is rated 4+ and contains no objectionable content, no in-app purchases, no third-party advertising, and no chat or social features. It does not knowingly collect any data from anyone.
Changes to this policy
If our privacy practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds optional iCloud sync — we'll update this page and indicate the new effective date below. We won't introduce any data collection without making it visible and opt-in.
